Secondo acuto della CCEN LECCE: 92-70

Con una bella cornice di pubblico come sempre corretto e appassionato, e’ andata di scena la gara d’esordio casalingo della CCEN LSB LECCE.

Avversari i ragazzi mai domi del Santa Rita Taranto di coach Menga che hanno lottato per tutti i quaranta minuti puntando a raccogliere i primi due punti della stagione.

L’inizio della gara ha visto una maggiore coralità nel gioco degli ionici, spinti da un Salerno in versione lusso.

Dall’altra parte rispondevano i nostri soprattutto con le azioni di Danilo Feruglio e la rapidita’ di Laurynas Balkunas, che con azioni spettacolari, ha fatto stropicciare gli occhi agli oltre 700 spettatori.

Il secondo quarto dopo uno strappo importante che porta ad uno spread di 20 punti tra le due formazioni, i mai domi tarantini soprattutto con Delage e Pentassuglia, riuscivano a rosicare diversi punti, chiudendo lo score all’intervallo lungo con appena 8 lunghezze da recuperare: 48 a 40.

L ‘inizio del terzo quarto vede gli ospiti impegnati ad imbrigliare i leccesi con una zona 3-2 che almeno inizialmente paga dei buoni dividendi.

Poi le triple in sequenza di Filippo Laudisa, Arminas Kelmelis e capitan Manuele Mocavero, scavavano un solco sempre più profondo tra i due quintetti. La partita non dava più sostanziali scossoni al punteggio e si avviava verso il definitivo 92-70 finale.

Da segnalare la buona prestazione di Andrea Castelluccio sempre pronto e utile alla squadra.

Una volta smaltite le fatiche di questo secondo turno del girone d’andata, si lavorerà a preparare la gara in trasferta a  Molfetta di domenica 30 ottobre.
